- Backbone
- A backbone consists of many different networks connecting with each other to deliver service across a large area.
- Backups
- Backups are copies of all data on servers used to recover data in case of loss or corruption. Most web hosting companies perform full or partial backups on a regular basis.
- Bandwidth
- The amount of data downloadable from a web server over a certain period of time. This amount is usually measured in GB (gigabytes) per month and most web servers have a maximum limit.
- Browser
- A web browser is a software application that allows a user to view and interact with content contained within web pages. Some of the most popular web browsers include Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera, and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
