- Daily Backups
- Daily backups are copies of all or partial data on web servers used to recover data in case of loss or corruption created on a daily basis.
- Dedicated Hosting
- Dedicated hosting is a type of web hosting where the client leases an entire server, instead of sharing a server. This allows for greater control than shared hosting, because the client will have full control over the server including choice of operating system, software and hardware.
- Disk Space
- Disk space is the amount of hard drive space available on the server to host your website. This is usually measured in megabytes (MB) or gigabytes (GB), and is limited to a set amount per account.
- Domain Name
- An Internet address expressed in alpha-numeric form, also known as a web address. A domain name provides an easy to remember name to stand in for a numeric IP address. Examples include google.com, w3c.org and cityofboston.gov.
- Download
- The act of transfering files or data from a web server to your local machine.
