Firewall: A firewall is piece of hardware or software which is used in a computer network to prevent unathorized or malicious transmissions of data. All hosting companies should have a firewall to protect the web servers from damage or theft by malicious users.
Flash: Flash is a technology developed by Macromedia which allows web pages display interactive elements, animation and stream audio and video.
FrontPage: A software application created by Microsoft allowing users with limited knowledge of programing to create and manage simple web pages.
FrontPage Extensions: FrontPage extensions are components used with FrontPage created web sites to extend functionality and enhance the user's experience. Many hosting companies offer support for FrontPage extensions.
FTP: FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a protocol used to easily transfer files over the Internet.
