Firewall

A firewall is piece of hardware or software which is used in a computer network to prevent unathorized or malicious transmissions of data. All hosting companies should have a firewall to protect the web servers from damage or theft by malicious users.

Flash

Flash is a technology developed by Macromedia which allows web pages display interactive elements, animation and stream audio and video.

FrontPage

A software application created by Microsoft allowing users with limited knowledge of programing to create and manage simple web pages.

FTP

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a protocol used to easily transfer files over the Internet.
